New Facebook News Feed Settings To Unfollow The Pages & Profile In A Single Click

Unfollow Facebook Pages & Profiles

Yesterday, Facebook launched one new News Feed settings tool, which will help you to quickly unfollow the pages and people without unliking or unfriending them. You can do this just by checking the latest News Feed setting area, where you will find a list of top pages, people, and groups, which you haven’t seen in the news feed for a long time. If you don’t wish to see them anymore then just click on unfollow button and get rid of them. Here, you can also check your previously unfollowed pages, profiles and if you want you can immediately follow them once again.

There is one more new setting update rolled out by Facebook that now whenever you will hide any post from your News Feed, you can inform Facebook that you have done it because of the author of the content or, the person or page who has shared it or mentioned in the app. If you don’t want to see it in news feed then Facebook will give you the option to unfollow.

Advice From Facebook For Marketers –

Whenever, Facebook launches something like this, they do it only after taking feedback from the users and rank the content in the news feed accordingly. If users unfollow your page or hide it from their news feed then it ultimately leaves a negative impact on your page’s organic reach. Therefore, it would be recommended for the pages to not to post annoying content.

From today itself, these new settings will be activated on desktop & mobile.

Facebook Allies With Stripe To Power Up Facebook’s ‘Buy Button’

Facebook Buy Button

The reports have been confirmed that Facebook joins hand with Stripe to activate the ‘Buy Button’, which will ultimately be a part of Facebook’s news feed. The same kind of service Twitter has started using from this month to active their ‘Buy Button’.

With this new Buy button Facebook users will be able to buy products displayed in the posts or ads, which will ultimately help marketers to make sales directly on Facebook. This Buy button is in testing phase since July. The spokesperson of Facebook has reported that Stripe is the only payment partner of Facebook.

The spokesperson from Stripe has confirmed the news of partnership with Facebook but declined to reveal anything more. This is surely interesting news because Facebook holds partnerships with various payment providers for their various features, like PayPal’s mobile payment division Braintree.

This is not the first time, when Stripe and Facebook are working together, they had partnered last year as well for a project. Stripe had partnered with various companies for a long time, like Twitter and now the Facebook. Stripe is a highly suggested payment partner with Apple to commence their Apple Pay service. It seems that the testing phase of Facebook’s ‘Buy button’ will end soon as the holiday season is coming closer, hence you can expect to see ‘Buy button’ in your news feed in a few days.
