Google Now On Tap Makes App Search Optimization Much Critical

Last week in I/O developer conference, Google unveiled its “Now on Tap” feature that allows you to search everything from text messages to photos posted on Instagram.

For app developers and similar brands, new deep linking competences mean more potential for apps. Google’s Now on Tap can moderate search as we know it. Just holding the home screen and tapping on related content on an Android mobile device will show prompt suggestions and information based on context. For instance, tapping on a shop name might display menus and reviews from OpenTable or Yelp apps so that you can immediately go through the reviews and place an order.

While, this news comes as a boon for app developers, as now they need not to be concerned about App Search Optimization along with SEO, since Google is taking both into consideration through Now on Tap. By releasing Now on Tap, Google might be aiming to give developers another way to discover outside the app store.

Now on Tap will be helpful other apps. Research studies have shown that majority apps that are downloaded by consumers are opened rarely.
